OUR story

A fairly new company, established in 2003 by the Montes Leyva Family, the dream was to bring the authentic taste of Mexico to Los Angeles.
 
It started with her own dream of coming to the States at the age of 12, Macrina Montes immigrated from her hometown in Jalisco in hopes of having a better life. After countless sacrifices and immense determination, Macrina bought her lands, agave, and distillery to ensure that her tequila was unlike any other. Her family is now operating tequila Azul Imperial, making this tequila their legacy.
